Chittara Homestay – A heritage Homestay
A second home!! We stayed there for two nights and three days. We completely enjoyed every second of our stay there. We were served with delicious food for all the three meals and they were very flexible for our timings.. A special thanks to the cooking team!! Moreover it’s a very safe property for women and family too. They had options for many indoor games for elders and kids as well. They immediately attended to our calls while in the stay for all the amenities required. The cleanliness maintained in the rooms and the restrooms are a highlight. And I would recommend this stay to everyone!!

After having scoured the internet and social media endlessly for a comfortable and affordable place to spend some time away from the hustle and bustle of the city and that too with our 5-months-old infant and elderly parents, I happened to find Chittara Homestay on Instagram! Went through their page and reviews and was blown over by the lovely experiences that their guests have had. We booked our stay here and got to experience why their guests said what they said!

There couldn’t be a place that better suits the phrase ‘home away from home’! We were so impressed with everything here that we wished we could extend our stay here by a few more days!

What delish, lip-smacking food their cook, Geetha, churns up! And it doesn’t feel for a second that you are sitting away from home and eating out! No ‘restaurant food’ vibes and it’s pure warmth on the plate! I could go on and on about their food.

And so is their hospitality. I have not seen a hotel/resort/Homestay take such good care of their guests! Manager, Prashanth, is always on his toes to make sure you have everything you need to feel comfortable and have an enjoyable stay.

The property is located in the midst of a lush coffee estate where time indeed comes to a standstill as you soak in the sights and sounds of nature in its most unadulterated form. It’s immaculately clean and so well maintained. The rooms are extremely spacious and the ones we stayed in come with their own porch area as well.

And all of this at a price that is easy on your pocket!

I am so glad that we chose to stay here instead of a ‘commercial’ hotel or resort. This vacation is something that we shall always remember fondly! Highly recommended this place!
